What Blessings Photography is About
Blessings photography is not about posed unnatural pictures. My goal is to capture the personality of everyone I photograph. I have never been a fan of traditional pictures with fake smiles and hands crossed. I try my hardest to let the inner you show through and be captured forever in a picture. When you look at my gallery I would hope that you could learn a little about the individuals in each picture. It is easiest to accomplish this goal with children, because they have less experience hiding who they really are. I have learned how to catch adults off guard and preserve their individuality indefinitely with a click of my camera. Feel free to call me at 229-249-9395 with any questions.
Photo Shoot Prices
$50 for individual portraits.( A one to two hour photo shoot with 150-400 pictures)
$75 for a family of two or more portraits in Lowndes County.( A one to two hour photo shoot with 50-200 pictures)
$100 for event photography (why worry about taking pictures at your child's birthday let me capture all the important moments so you can live them)
$50 for infant studio portraits. ( A one to two hour photo shoot with 50-200 pictures)
$35 For a mini session. (a 30 minute photo shoot where you get 25-50 pictures)
The session fee is due on or before your session date.
This fee covers the time spent taking and editing your photographs and a CD of all the edited pictures. Blessing Photography reserves the right to all pictures taken for advertisement or entrance into competitions.
Location! Location! Location!
They say Location is the key to the success of a business. It is also true for a photo shoot. The location you pick should reflect who you are. The options are endless (as long as we have permission).
Here are a couple of options.
Down Town Valdosta has a variety of locations within walking distance.Down Town Hahira is also an option. I have access to a beautiful location off of Val Del Rd if a country setting is more your style. I can also come to your home if you would like. If you are thinking of setting up a shoot, as you drive around town keep your eyes open for locations that you feel attracted to. Even if it is private property, majority of the time the owners are flattered that you want to use their property. If you want baby pictures, I have a small studio located in my home. Baby's often need a climate controlled environment. This is also a good time for me to come to your house.
The Best Time!
The best time to take portraits are at dawn or dusk. The light at any other time of day is to harsh and washes you out, and every one will be squinting in all of the pictures. The time the sun rises and sets changes depending on the time of year. I am always aware of what time the light is best, so contact me to set a time that best suites your schedule.
